Naturopathic Physician

Dr. Graves is a licensed naturopathic physician, specializing in treating hormone imbalances. This includes helping with age related declines in sex hormones; fertility, adrenal fatigue and cortisol imbalances, thyroid conditions; as well as GI and immune dysfunctions. He is a graduate of Bastyr University and lives with his family here in Eastern Washington. 

He utilizes naturopathic and functional medicine techniques and treatments, offering tests for food sensitivities, gluten intolerance, hormone imbalances, comprehensive GI and stool analysis, and blood screening, and toxic load testing. 

He provides lifestyle counseling, diet analysis and individualized optimization, treatments to improve sleep, and restorative therapies for improved quality of life.

As with most people, I love food.  I have always tried to feed my family, what I thought was a healthy diet, but never truly understanding the power of food.
I started my career path in the health care industry as a Certified Medical Assistant. Although I enjoyed my work, I felt the strong desire to follow a more natural approach to health. I found the opportunity to transition to alternative health care and jumped aboard. The last 10 years in holistic medicine have solidified in me that food has amazing power to heal. I was inspired to go back to school and further my passion by studying nutrition on a professional level. I am now a Certified Holistic Nutritionist through AFPA. With the constant change in nutrition science, I pride myself on actively keeping up with current research by attending seminars, webinars and certification programs.

I am not paleo. Not gluten free. Not low-carb. Not sugar free. Not vegetarian. Not vegan. Sometimes I eat foods or maybe a meal that fits neatly into these categories, but I actually strive to eat as wide a variety of foods as possible. This is what makes me                                                      feel healthy and happy.
